How to use Local Presence

Local presence allows a call to appear as a local number! It's our way of helping you get your foot in the door. 👟 🚪

Using Local Presence

Once your company has been given access to local presence, all users will have the ability to use local presence in Truly. Using it is simple.

  1. Click on your Phone number in the top right corner of the app.

  2. Under the Phone Number tab, toggle Local Presence at the top to turn off/on.

  • Once the call is placed a local number is generated and and will display in dialer.  

  • When a call is returned to that local presence number, we automatically route it back to the correct rep! 

Note: For this dynamic routing to connect properly, the person making the return call MUST call from the same number that the Truly user called using local presence from the missed call on their device.

They will not be able to call your local presence number back by manually entering it.

Example

Matt calls Joe at (206) 555-5555 with local presence.
Matt's number dynamically changes to (206) 444-4444 for this call.
Joe returns the call from that missed call to Matt at (206) 444-4444 from (206) 555-5555 and is reconnected!

Please note: Local presence is currently only provides US-based numbers.
