Understanding Call Durations and Voicemail Notifications

Call Durations inside the Desktop App: 

  • Inbound: Call conversation bubbles inside the desktop app reflect the total time since the caller initiated the call. This may include ringing time, or time in queue. If a call rings for 20 seconds and lasts for 40 seconds, the call time will reflect the total time (1 minute).

  • Voicemail: Voicemails received will display the total ringing time before the call went to voicemail, not the actual voicemail duration.

  • The duration of the voicemail can be found once it is highlighted, in the right hand panel, and includes a transcription of the message.
