How to manually update the "related to" on a synced call task in Salesforce

Need to manually sync your call within your company's SFDC instance?

  1. Click on the Salesforce cloud logo when the call is selected.

  2. A new window/tab will open with the related task in Salesforce.

  3. Depending on your Salesforce instance, use the respective instructions below.

In SFDC lightning:

  1. Click on the caret in the top right of the page.

  2. Click edit.

  3. Edit the name section and search there if the object you're looking to sync to is a contact or lead.

  4. Edit the related to section and search there if the object you're trying to sync to is a case, account, etc.

In Salesforce Classic:

  1. Click the edit button in the middle top section of the page.

  2. Edit the name section and search there if the object you're looking to sync to is a contact or lead.

  3. Edit the related to section and search there if the object you're trying to sync to is a case, account, etc.
