Let’s say you already have designated numbers for your teams, you’d use a basic menu to make sure the proper team members are attached to their respective lines.

Creating a Basic Phone Menu

  1. Go to the Phone Menus tab in the admin console.

  2. Click the "+" icon in the upper right.

  3. Select "Basic Phone Menu"

You will then be presented with a few options:

  1. "name" will be the friendly name of your new basic phone menu

  2. "type of number" can be local phone number, toll-free number, or unassigned number.

  3. "in area code" lets you specify what area-code you'd like your new basic phone menu number to be if you selected local phone number or toll-free number.

  4. The grey bar will provide a random number with your specifications. Click on the circular arrow to "roll" for a different number if needed.

Basic Phone Menu Settings

The following tabs will appear: Phone Menu, Phone Numbers, and Hours
