Salesloft Settings

Admins will need to reach out to their Salesloft account manager for enablement of the following dialer settings. Their support team can also be reached via this link.

  • In Salesloft, click Settings

  • Under Communication click ‘Dialer’

  • Set “My 3rd party dialer uses” to “Tel Links”

  • Make sure “Log calls with SalesLoft logger" is unchecked

Admins will need to disable SFDC call activity logging in Salesloft to prevent multiple calls logging to their instance.

Forms

To ensure that Salesloft sequences advance to the next step, Admins will need to make sure that each Truly user leveraging the integration is assigned to a form that contains a Disposition and Sentiment picklist that aligns with the Disposition and Sentiment values stored in Salesloft.

  • Log into the admin panel at admin.truly.co

  • Click Forms and navigate to the form in question

  • Click ‘Add New Form Field’ and fill in with the information below to create the Disposition field
    - Name: Disposition
    - API Key: disposition__c
    - Type: Picklist

  • Click ‘Add Option’ to begin building out disposition list as it appears in Salesloft. Note: The label and value fields should be the EXACT same as in Salesloft

  • Click Save.

  • Click ‘Add New Form Field’ and fill in with the information below to create the Sentiment field
    - Name: Sentiment
    - API Key: sentiment__c
    - Type: Picklist

  • Click ‘Add Option’ to begin building out Sentiment list as it appears in Salesloft. Note: The label and value fields should be the same as in Salesloft

  • Click ‘Save

  • Click ‘Publish Form

  • Next, assign this form to a team and you're all set!

Note: The integration will look for any forms with “disposition” or “sentiment” in the API key. If a customer is already using truly_customCallDisposition__C or any active API key that has “disposition” or “sentiment” as part of the API key string, this would need to be the field they’re using for Salesloft. If there is more than one API key with "disposition" or "sentiment" on the form, the integration will provide an error when trying to save the call data.

If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to the Truly support team at support@truly.co or by clicking your initials in the upper right corner in the desktop app and we’ll be happy to assist!
