What does this integration do?
Truly automatically can push call and meeting recordings into Gong.io.
How does it work?
The integration uses AI to intelligently extract knowledge from customer conversations to service actionable insights that help make customer-facing reps better.
Set-up Instructions
There are a few steps required to set up the integration workflow. You will need to access your Truly Admin Console Dashboard and your Gong application to begin this process.
Obtain the "Application ID" (Also known as the API Key) and "Application Secret" from our admin console (under API credentials) and input them into Gong's Setting page.
Obtain the Company ID from Gong, then obtain the Application ID from Truly.
Input the ID’s into the webhook URL found in the “Webhooks tab” in the admin console.
The webhook URL is of the format of:
https://webhooks.gong.io/v1/truly?companyId={{GongCompanyID}}&app_id={{TrulyAppID}}
Once the webhook has the CompanyID and the AppID, it needs to be placed into the webhook URL section in the Admin Panel
Enable the event “Recording Ready”
Note: It is highly recommended to always verify your integration set-up with Gong
