Truly is one of the only voice providers who does not charge extra for phone numbers. In order to keep our costs possible (and not have to pass it through to customers), we've created this policy regarding how unused phone numbers are handled.

Default Policy

Any phone number that is unused according to the following definitions will be released from the customer's account automatically and without notice:

  • Is unassigned for 60 days or more

  • Is assigned to a user who is inactive (not made/received calls in) > 90 days)

  • Is not assigned to an active phone menu (one through which no call has been accepted) for 90 days

Paid Upgrade

If you wish to retain your numbers indefinitely, you can opt into a contract amendment whereby you will accept the additional costs incurred by Truly for unused numbers, which will be added to the invoice in your next 'True Up' period.
