International Termination

Truly works with a mix of Tier1 operators globally to achieve the highest quality possible.

Local Vs. Global Network Routes

International calls can be terminated through two routes:

  • Local Routes: are calls that are terminated directly through the Tier1 carrier who hosts the phone numbers in the country. These are the highest quality calls with the lowest ring delay, lowest latency and full CLI (caller ID) reliability. This is as close as you can get to having a landline in this country. These routes are available only for Local Numbers that have the Tier1 termination designation.

  • Global Network: these calls are terminated on a 'best effort' basis through various international providers like Voxbone, Telefonica and Telstra. This is similar to using your phone while roaming in another country. Overall quality should not be a problem but CLI (caller ID) may be malformed or hidden intermittently.
